Join the Sierra Club in partnership with Groundwork Jacksonville as we work to preserve the natural beauty and health of our local environment by cleaning up and maintaining the S-Line, Jacksonville’s first dedicated urban trail.
We will supply trash grabbers and bags. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves and water. Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants and a hat.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
DIRECTIONS: Meet and park at the Emmett Reed Community Center, 1093 W 6th St, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
Take I-95 north through Jax. Exit at 8th Street (Exit 353D). Turn left on 8th ST. Turn left on Payne St., then left on W. 6th St.
Park in back of the building near the playground.
