Sunset River Walk May 23

Join Groundwork Jacksonville for a beautiful sunset walk along the Northbank downtown and share your vision for Jacksonville’s Riverfront. You will be a part of open discussions and interesting visioning activities about the programs, activities, and events YOU think will help create a vibrant, accessible riverfront year-round. 

The event begins and ends at Intuition Ale Works. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Water will be provided. Optional food and beverages at Intuition Ale Works are on your own. Registration and signed waiver is required. 

About the Riverfront Activation Plan

Jacksonville is blessed with acres of riverfront land downtown but lacks a comprehensive plan for how to activate this space for all types of activities and provide access for all residents and visitors to our area.

Groundwork Jacksonville is supporting the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, in collaboration with DVDL, an agency of cultural forecasters, and and WXY, a New York based design, architecture, and planning studio, on an important initiative to create a Riverfront Activation Plan. We believe that this plan should be for AND by all residents and communities in the city and hope you will join us by lending your voice and becoming an active participant of the riverfront!
